Would you believe me if I told you this is what my “working Saturday” looked like?
We onboarded a new client, our first in the personal grooming sector. It’s a premium Salon in Mumbai, having branches in two upbeat locations. They want to heighten in all ways, across all parameters, as well as brand recognition and positioning in the market.
While the project is a long-term intervention across multiple stages and segments, we are their L&D partners on board. Our journey here is from identification of (people skill) gaps to bridging them.
We flagged off the first stage with a Mystery Audit. And it looked like this:
I visited each of their branches, availing a few services, as a ghost customer.
I’ve made my observations around the staff, the behaviours, the operational and functional aspects, challenges, quality parameters, customer centricity- basically identification of all areas of improvement.
Next step, is a 1:1 discovery lined up with salon managers next week.
Depending on what emerges here, the way forward will be chalked out.
This project is by far the most fun and exciting one I’ve worked on.
Who knew my love for getting pampered at salons would get me on this seat one day?
I’m grateful to be here, and stoked to see what emerges in the discovery, and how this project snowballs.
Stay tuned for a lot more on this!
