I never imagined I’d enter a salon and make it look like this
Remember our newly onboarded Salon client for which we conducted a mystery (and rather relaxing) audit?
Well, it was now time to get to the non-pampering side of business.
Last week, it was Discovery day with their top 10 managers.
The day was divided into two halves, and it looked like this:
Part A:
Context Setting, and Snakes and Ladders gameplay. Here,
Each “Snake” was a blind spot / challenge / gap that was brought to surface through conscious conversations.
Each “Ladder” surfaced varied strengths of the teams, albeit the organisation.
Part B:
A 1:1 candid, open-ended discussion with each Manager.
Ended the day rather late with a tonne of insights, inputs, and observations.
Can’t wait to chalk out a learning roadmap and pave the way forward for their revamp and transformation.
What’s particularly keeping me excited about this project, (barring the fact that it’s the Beauty and Grooming industry- which I love) is that there are multiple pillars (external consultants) responsible for this transformative project. And my plans need to be weaved into larger roadmaps of Strategy, Ops, Business, and more.
So a lot of layers, a lot of high-stakes meetings, a lot of stakeholders- it just gets more and more stimulating and interesting with each meeting.
Lots more coming on this, soon!
