> Who It’s For:
Our client is an American MNC and a global pioneer in the renewable energy space. This has been a 12-week long intervention with their Senior Director, India.
> What I Did:
Last year around this time, I’d conducted a two-part Discovery and Diagnosis for them. First day was observing the Multi-cultural team and dynamics in a meeting. And the next day was an workshop using blended OBT methodology.
Basis those findings, a detailed report was submitted about each individual participant.
This 12-week long hybrid 1:1 journey stemmed as an offshoot from that program.
While a lot has previously been said about the various gamified and coaching sessions with this one, here’s how we drew this to closure in the last leg.
>The Process:
This is the first time we at Réflexions married Facilitation, Gamification and Coaching. Over 12 weeks and several 1:1s with the Coach and Coachee, a lot had shifted. So to coagulate everything together, I set up a treasure hunt.
10 levels. 10 badges to be earned after unlocking each level. By the end of it all, there was a whole Leadership Character Sketch of the (now) evolved leader. (I urge you to zoom in a check out the board).
The mood board drew parallels with past and present, future, CTAs, blind spots, breakthroughs, and more. The best part was the Coachee created his own Leadership Mantra which would serve as reminder of, and keep him accountable to his progress everyday.
Our biggest highlights:
1) Less than 6 weeks into the intervention, the Coachee’s super boss and juniors began noticing a shift in his approach and communication.
2) On a pre and post scale metric, the Coachee has shown 30% improvement across various parameters.
I enjoyed this project particularly because it extracted all my creative juices. What a challenge, what a pay-off! And what a year it has been with this client!
