Reflexions

“What’s the difference between Training, and Engagement?”

As a FaciliTrainer, this is one of the ubiquitous FAQ’s clients ask.

‘All trainings aren’t Engagement, and all engagement isn’t Training.’

Engagement can be created by practically anything- Zumba, music, bursting balloons, games, competitions, art, treks, trainings, anything.
Trainings are a one-way street to knowledge transfer.

But are all training programs engaging? Contrairement, are all engagement programs rich in value addition/ creation?

It’s thus the sweet spot between facilitation and trainings, where the magic is created.
Facili-Training is a promising, blended approach, that guarantees valuable insights and takeaways, and engagement by way of cognitive and kinaesthetic energies.

It goes beyond the hurrahs, the hoolas, the games, the props, the winning, the dancing, and the chaos.

Reflection, application and learning is fostered using a battery of structured tools and processes, to yield fruitful results. The experiences of the participants are harnessed, and processed, and value is co-created using group wisdom harvesting, among others.

Each participant is on his own reflective, introspective and interactive journey of real-life, application-based takeaways. Simulations are created, and those metaphors are connected to daily work-life; for relevance, relatability, and pertinent CTA. All of this, while of course, driving the group to the desired learning outcomes and agenda.

All in all, facili training isn’t a one-way street, neither is engagement- it’s the damn junction.
