From a drastic last minute change in timings, to a last-minute mandate to shorten the session; today truly felt like I rose from the rubble. A day where agility, fluidity, resilience, temper, and everything in-between were dancing with defiance.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again- back ups save you from eff ups!
And the multi-fold backups came in handy while I pivoted and re-pivoted through the engineering.

The Gameplan:
Flagged off the day with a quick ice breaker by way of Object Speed Dating. Then moved in to the core activity that was Snake Walk.
Owing to venue and sudden resource constraints, the initial relay plan was scrapped, and we did 2 versus 2 matches. My focus was now to keep the 50 odd participants hooked. I created an “observatory deck” for the non-playing teams and gave them a bait that not only made my work easier but also kept them on their toes!
90 minutes went by in splits of laughter, team struggles, trial and error, and a dollop of realisations and learnings.
It was now time to draw the intervention to a closure.
A rapid debrief yielded some key takeaways from the participants, which I took the liberty to scribe (in frame), before we concluded on a happy high!
Happy and deeply gratified to report the turning of the tide; albeit a successful intervention. The participants and the client sponsors we’re brimming with glee with the payoff.
