Sounds surprising? We were too!
This week called for a bittersweet wrap on our 12 week hybrid “Leadership Reboot” program. Our client/sponsor is an American MNC globally pioneering the renewable energy space. This program was specifically curated for their Senior Director, India.
This 12 week journey from Jan-Apr’25 has been nothing short of revolutionary. And I say this because this is the first time we at Réflexions married Facilitation with Coaching. Two starkly different methodologies that, when blended together in the perfect ratio, made the concoction to the most effective leadership transformation. And I’m really not one to use the word “transformation” loosely.
12 weeks of answering questions and questioning answers. 12 weeks of showing up. 12 weeks of learning and applying tools, 12 weeks of unlearning and relearning. 12 weeks of challenging patterns, breaking habits and old loops, 12 weeks of going from blind spots to breakthroughs- the journey was far from easy.
With me on this journey was Yathaash Fulwadiwala– lead coach on this project. He’s the man with the magic wand, his impact is as tall as he is! He spearheaded the coaching sessions, while I was instrumental in curating the in-person gamified simulations.
After every string of 8 online sessions, we facilitated one in-person workshop. We started off with Snakes and Ladders, then Jengafication, Sequencification, and the last one was a Table-Top Treasure Hunt.
This treasure hunt was the perfect concluding tool, coagulating everything that’s gone down in the past 12 weeks. At the end of it, we had a Character Sketch of the (now) transformed leader.
Detailed usage and synopsis of this tool in the next post.
At the end of the process, the participant was presented with his Treasure- a detailed summary card commemorating his journey.
Meanwhile, little did we know we would walk away with a truly precious treasure too! (In frame) The coachee gifted Yathaash and me these cute little mugs as his token of gratitude.
Honestly- it’s these little gestures that are the real remuneration. It’s why we do what we do. And it’s what keeps our clock ticking.
Gratitude to our client for trusting us with this project. To our Coachee who worked so hard and deligently, to the Coach and to all other stakeholders.
All the late nights and (awfully) early mornings due to the time zones, the design and redesigning- all so so worth it!
